Ross Island: Ross Island, which is a small island of less than a sq.km area, encompasses the entire life of the Andamans in a way and it was once the home of indigenous tribe. It is a self-equipped and well developed island that has all the facilities for a comfortable journey. You can also see ruins of the church and the house of Chief Commissioner.

Viper Island: Viper Island, close to Port Blair, housed the old prison, in which the prisoners were accommodated before British built the Cellular Jail. We can see the ruin of the gallows atop the hill, where many prisoners were killed.

The Corbyns Cove Beach: Corbyn’s Cove Beach, which just 6 km away from the main town of Port Blair, attracts the tourists with the coconut-palm-fringed beach. The only beach in Port Blair, Corbyn’s Cove Beach is ideal for sun basking. You can see historical remains like Japanese bunkers, which were used during World War II, here.

North Bay Beach
: North Bay Beach is just north of Port Blair and is popular for large variety of coral and marine life. Besides the absolutely breath-taking visual treat, this beach also offers excellent snorkeling opportunity.

The Wandoor Beach: Wandoor Beach with its beautiful crystal waters mesmerises the tourists. The beach is situated 25 km away from Port Blair. This place is also suitable for swimming.

Collinpur Beach: If you like to have swimming in the water of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, you must visit Collinpur Beach. This exotic location, which is 36 km away from Port Blair, is marvellous with beautiful sandy beach and shallow water. Swimming, sun basking, sunset viewing or spending some leisure time in this beach is enough for you to remember this lovely place forever.

Havelock Island: Havelock Island, which is just fifty km by sea from Port Blair, is the most favourite location of tourists, as its white sandy beaches surrounded by lush green forest, offers a spectacular sight to the nature lovers. Radhanagar Beach and the Elephanta Beach are the popular beaches here.

Neil Island: Neil Island is a good place, if you are looking for some of the travelling options around the city. It is known as Vegetable Bowl of Andaman and attracts the visitors with ties unprecedented calm and serenity. Walking at the sandy beaches enjoying the beautiful surroundings of the island will be a nice experience.

Mount Harriet: It is the highest peak in the South Andaman, which was the summer headquarters of the British Chief Commissioner. The place with a distance of 55 km from Port Blair is a home for endemic birds, butterflies and animals. Tourists have to pay an entry fee of ten rupees to visit Mount Harriet.

Munda Pahar Beach
: Visit Munda Pahar Beach, which is just 1 km ahead of the bus stand at Chidiya Tapu and enjoy the sunset here.

Chidiya Tapu: It is a famous picnic site locted just 25 km away from Port Blair. With beautiful beaches and forests, it attracts number of tourists and nature lovers here.
